Mitchell Johnson has absolutely no point being in the Australian team.

He'll play though, cause Michael Clarke likes him and Michael Clarke is a knob
Why isn't Starcy talked about as a chance? Thought he would've got a go!
I think that's because he's a certainty to play... replacing Patto.

38 run average is not really that bad. Especially given he was in really bad form 2 years ago

if you took out the India series when he averaged 90..... (which was 4 tests)

he played 9 other test matches in 2011/12.... which makes it 13 tests at 38 average means he would have scored roughly 494 runs in the entire year.

yet because he scored 360 of his 494 (72%) in the one series against India you want to keep him?

in the 9 other tests matches his average was 14....

Maybe if we can somehow reschedule the Ashes to be against the Indians...

Can anyone lead me as to where to complain about the Adelaide oval? Even though I was there thursday for the greatest day of cricket I'll ever see, the services were horrible, xxxx gold? :o like wtf? also $6 crappy hot dogs, $9 potatoes, $4.5 coke, chips and stake sandwich was the only food available :-\ and all for the low low price of $38 entry ($45 full price) how was I meant to go another day?

Nails

Sounds like that's the first cricket or football match you've ever been to tbag...

Steak Sandwiches were an option? You got bloody lucky.

i wont mention Sydney prices, but they are worse ($7 wont get you a beer). They serve XXXX gold as its a mid strength

JBs-Hawks

Yea Adelaide serves Xxxx only as well but on a hot day at the cricket still tastes pretty damn good.

tbagrocks

Nah there was much more at the footy and the Cricket last summer there was more options

also, xxxx gold? :o I am not paying $7 for that crap! I had one and struggled to finnish it!

Well your just a bit soft then hey. :P

They had plenty of stuff they had yiros and beyond India too. Obviously there was gonna be less food stalls there was like 20000 people there because of the construction and most of those were in the members

Nobody is soft for not wanting to drink xxxx gold, there's every beer in the world>xxxx gold :P

That's right! Only a small crowd maybe less than 5000 in the northen outer, not the point though! Poor effort, for $38/45 I expect propper service! Seriously if tickets were $20 I would have gone to two maybe three days, plus the 20-30 you spend on food and drink, they're losing money by charging those riddiculous entry prices! Even if the ground only held 18 000, not the point!

When your at the cricket beer is beer who cares about the brand as long as its cold.

Yeah well my Pastor was sitting in front of us so I couldn't really drink to much anyway :P

So whats the deal with xxxx anyway why are they selling it in Adelaide sporting venues, at least at Reds games I can get a Coopers ;D and the footy you can drink whiskey

JBs-Hawks

Theyve always sold it at the cricket, well least since I started drinking it at the cricket in the 06 ashes
