Great Captain's innings from Clarke.

He's still a knob though

Not the way to end the partnership, pity! Great partnership of over 250 runs ;D

Anyone think we are a chance to win this one at all now? We should match their score tonight, then could declare and try and rip through their top order with the new ball?

I think we could. Would need 3 wickets tonight though BB.

Go Mr Cricket!!

Mailman the 2nd

I think the SA batsmen are too good to let a draw slip.

Otherwise Lyon would need a big couple of spells

Unlikely I think. We'd need to get up on them by maybe 150 minimum, but still leave enough time too knock over their top order.

Clarkey and Huss are putting on a show atm! :D

Magic innings.  To come in at 3-40 and smash out a 200 when we really need it is a true testament of his ability, mentality and courage.

Yep, absolutely terrific captain's knock. Again!

Cowan, Clarkey and Huss have saved our asses from embarrasment!

Clarke and Huss have pulled us out of a lot of shower in recent times.  I love Huss, probably my favourite player at the moment.

What a knock from Pup! He has been so good since taking over the captaincy and he is in the form of his career right now. We have now scored more than what South Africa did, and I think that people can be way too critical of a teams performance before a game is even over. Everyone was saying  we had already lost the series after one poor session of bowling on the first morning, but look, it was an excellent batting pitch and we did better than the South Africans. We may have a fragile top order, but the middle order seems to be doing all right at the moment.

And the same thing goes to the people who are saying Ponting should be again dropped after one failure. Give the man a series to see how he plays and then make a call on it.
