Very envious mate, congrats on getting to witness today live would of been awesome.

That was the highest score in a first innings on the first day of a test match since the Aussies played the Saffas at the SCG back in 1910/11 I think it was :o

PowerBug

Never seen a higher scoring day before, insane. I think the injuries can be blamed for this though. Take out 2 front-line seamers and a bat who also would've bowled a fair bit today in Duminy, it hurts alot. Do the same to any team and you'll most probably play badly. Shame, but that's cricket i guess, gotta admire the good stuff too from Pup and Huss. :D

Kallis was a big loss, was bowling well and the ball that got Ponting, made Punter look silly. Good to see Steyne make it back on.
The partnerships between Clarke/Warner and Clarke/Hussey were brilliant. Clarke had a huge dat again.

I actually just can't believe the form that Clarke is in at the moment. He has scored 1265 runs for 2012 at an average of 140.5  That is quite amazing and he still has a couple of more tests to go this year. The captaincy has been great for Pup and it's great to have a captain that leads by example with the bat and in the field.

Yeh his avg is outstanding, gotta be honest i was a bit of a critic/knocker of his and he's made me eat those words and some he's thrived as skipper.
