i was in Fremantle today and saw signs everywhere about this proposed move.....

i know the article is a bit old but having seen posters all over Fremantle today suggesting this could still happen

i'm going to say i don't agree with this move at all

If the new site gives the Dockers an advantage to training then I am all for it.  Whatever gives the club the best chance to succeed is what we should be doing.

elephants

Haha, do you guys agree on anything?

I spoke to a reporter from one of the local rags today, and he was saying that it appears that the Fremantle council have almost given up on the thought of getting the Dockers to remain in Fremantle.
Appears Cockburn has a large part of their foot in the door.

From what I understand the Cockburn offer is very attractive.  The Fremantle offer appears to have lots of restrictions due to heritage listings etc

Please tell me this means they will change their name to the 'Cockburn Dockers' haha.

I believe its pronounced Co-burn? but the name is mildly humorous none the less :P

lol yes its Co-burn

I don't mind this. Will the new Stadium change their plans tho?

valkorum

The name wont change - just the training venue.
