One of the problems I have with Hawka's logo is that I'd like to see it in lower resolutions first. I don't give the logo much room on the page, so it needs to look just as good at 60 pixels high. My suspicion is that it's not simple enough for that purpose. If Hawka wants to prepare a 60 pixel high version, that would be handy.

Hawk_88 is actually the designer of the logo not Hawka :P. And he took a hiatus from FF a while back but may be back here and there now so somebody could pop him a PM to come look in here :).

Not sure if this is what you mean, but I resized it to be 60px high. Also got rid of the white backing because the transparency will/would make it easier to plaster it onto...stuff.

Hey guys. Someone shot me a message about this thread.

I'd totally forgot I had made this logo. If Monty, or anyone else for that matter, wants to use it, please feel free.

I think first and foremost that it is worth pointing out that when you create something, especially if you are the sole creator, you can sometimes want to keep the "ownership" of the creation process. Not talking for Monty here, but if he feels that way about this site, then he may well want to create the logo himself, which of course is his right.

That being said, if Monty did want to open it up, I wouldn't just take my logo. Back when I had spare time (oh the memories) I would work on creating more modern versions of current logos just to keep my creative juices flowing when work was, let's say, less than inspiring. Normally when I create a new logo, I do not necessarily limit myself by simply reinterpreting the old one.

I am sure there are many other creative people out there too that would produce great ideas, probably better than mine. If it is something that is being opened I think it should be a process available to everyone.

No need to be modest hawk_88 i could'nt even draw something better than that. Thats the winner as far as im concerned.
m0nty's not that shallow that it's all gotta be his project or nothing, aint that right m0nty. Were a community, would be good for anyone new or old to have a crack so i get that youd like to see everyone get a go but unless m0nty excepts it in colour pencil im stuffed. Untill i see better thats the winner. Im guessing theres plenty among us that could have a crack at designing something so lets see em or hawk_88 has it in the bag.

I really like some of that art but by a whisker i gotta go with h_88's work still.Sorry Nails.
