My currently line-up is

Goodard (13), Grimes (12), Gibbs (13), Duffield (11), Heppell (13), Pittard (11) and 3 rooks,  I migh consider Pedo, but there isnt a lot of options for spacing them out.

Yeah I'm a fan of God and Gibbs but how does Birch fair against the better teams? With the hawks tough early draw he might be worth leaving as an upgrade target

his lowest scores during the home and away season were 60 (Saints), 63 (Essenden when they were struggling), 68 (Geelong) and 67 (Sydney). And looking at his other scores i don't think it really matters who he is playing, he has good games and bad games.

Hmm you made me curious enough to go check his stats for last year myself (I'm on the phone, it's just a bit more annoying to do it). Anyway he also had really poor games against Collingwood and Sydney in the finals. I guess at the end of the day he should easily be a top 7 or so back but that early run still worries me...

Got 3/1/3 on the ground atm (Goddard, Grimes, Gibbs, Birch, Broughton, Lake, Docherty), hoping therefore Colquhoun and Ballard are drafted to a R12 team, although one or both of them will probably be gone by then.

Looking at a very unique back 7 of Gibbs, Goddard, Grimes, Bock, Howard, Atley, Docherty/Pittard with another rook maybe Colquhorn who of course we don't know which team he will play for.

That leaves me with a 2/2/3 which I am pretty happy with at the moment. Very useful threads mate :)
