Hawthorn and North once isn't great.

Neither is Port, WBD, StKilda, GC, Brisbane all once.

Only have to play 2 of the top 5 teams twice though.

It's not a horrible draw but it certainly isn't good.

Holz

Dam have to wait till round 21 for the big game.

Looks like a pretty reasonable draw, getting sydney at the SCG is abit unlucky along with coming to the West twice. Will be hard to win those games.

I have seen worse draws (roos),  Essendon should have the class to make finals with this draw.

roo boys!

Just means we have longer to hype it up Holz :P

Mailman the 2nd

Comparatively a pretty relaxed draw

Ricochet

Yeh a pretty even spread there, can't see it being too much trouble for you boys next year

Capper

Nice draw aorund the bye period.
GC before and Port, Dogs, Giants after

Seems a tough-run home, and the Bombers ran out of puff in 2012. Could be crucial. Last 6 games against teams that could all be realistically in finals contention.

I predict Essendon to be 13-9 from that draw.

I don't think the draw matters, when bombers are up and about, they can beat anyone (hawks probs only ones we would struggle to beat). More a case of consistancy and fitness. If they fall off at the end of the year, they don't deserve the 8, but if they come home strong, maybe top 4?

Only other issue is their AWAY playability.... and yes it's a big flowering issue
