What do you think of the fixture? How does it look for your team? I'm neither here nor there for Brisbane's...

Lions have one extremely tough patch in the middle however

Rd 6 - Swans
Rd 7 - Eagles
Rd 8 - Bombers
Rd 9 - Blues
Rd 10 - Pies
Rd 11 - Bye
Rd 12 - Dockers
Rd 13 - Cats
Rd 14 - Hawks

flower me that is one tough slog over those weeks.

Go Eddie you good thing. Pies should be able to cope with their draw.. ;D

This article reckons the Lions have the easiest draw.

QuoteAt the other end of the scale, the easiest draw in terms of opponents' win-loss record belongs to the Brisbane Lions, whose 2013 opponents this year won 47.2 per cent of their matches. It helps, in the case of the Lions, that they get two games against Gold Coast, which won just three games in 2012.

As for my team, I think the Tigers have a fairly good draw. We only play on the 2012 finalists in Freo twice and our first three games are against Carlton, St Kilda and the Dogs. Could start 3-0! The only thing I don't like about it is that we only play the expansion teams in the Suns and Giants once each. Although that may be a good thing against Gold Coast :P

PowerBug

Crows still have the 4th easiest draw.... They don't play any fellow top 4 teams twice... Western Bulldogs get screwed over, much ike Port were for 2012.

Agree Lions have a softish draw on paper but no games are sure things (Richmond v Gold coast for the last 2 years).
Have a toough middle section as highlighted by Nails but if we are to be contenders then we must win a share of these.

Have posted in Lions thread but if there is interest for Qld FF members to get together for Friday Nights game on 31st May against Pies happy to look further into it.

Sydney got a pretty easy draw really.

North should feel a bit pissed off.

+1

Not sure how Adelaide end up only playing Top 4 sides 3 times, less than any other team? Looks like all you Crows fans will have to put up with "soft draw" taunts again   :P

Really??
Cats, Hawks, Pies twice. Saints twice, one at home one in NZ.
West coast, Crows and port all away

Finish with Cats and then Hawks (unlike this year Hawks then cats)

Bye last year
11 - Crows, Lions, Giants, North, Eagles, Dogs
12 - Pies, Bombers, Freo, Cats, Dees, Swans
13 - Blues, Suns, Hawks, Port, Tigers, Saints

Byes this year
11 - Lions, Freo, Hawks, Port, Tigers, Dogs
12 - Cats, Dees, North, Saints, Swans, Eagles
13 - Pies, Giants, Suns, Bombers, Blues, Crows

Round 13 could be interesting in regards to fantasy with pies, Bombers, Blues and Crows having the bye

Agree. With so many new teams pushing to make the 8 next year could NMs draw be the difference between them making it and missing out?

Definitely the hardest round to deal with I'd say fantasy wise.

8 six day breaks kinda screws us (WCE) but I'm happy with our double matches.

Freo, Bombers, Hawks, Crows, Bulldogs

Sydney at home in our only match vs the premiers. Collingwood away in round 23 (well manipulated Eddie).

GWS, St. Kilda, Melbourne and Port will all go down as relatively kind away matches.

Draw gets a fair bit tougher after the bye.

Cant complain though, good draw for our premiership assault.

Ringo

Round 13 looks like being a tanking round on intial onservations especially when you look at teams the prem defenders and forwards and to a lesser extent mids will come from.

Damn the Eagles have a home game when we go to Melbourne :(

Richmond at Cazalys Stadium.. Yes!!

Two meetings scheduled against St Kilda, Brisbane Lions, Port Adelaide, Melbourne and Greater Western Sydney, with no return encounters with any of the 2012 finalists.

That's pretty ordinary. I understand the need to try and equalise, but seriously should play at least one finalist.
