Mum was quick to suggest what I should do with my free time. So, today and the rest of my weekend is cleaning my desk/shelf/room and chuck out all the stuff I won't ever use again. Turns out I'm going to be burning notes after all at my friend's on Tuesday.

Haha, sounds like fun :D. I mat clean my room as well over the weekend as may be quite bored :P. Was thinking about doing it last night at 1am :-X.

me and my mates did something similar when i finished my HSC/year 12 exams. Went to the local park in Wollongong up the mountain and it has little fireplaces for BBQs and about 10 guys all brought their study notes with them to burn. It was a pretty impressive fire except that not only did the local firies turn up but the cops and bushies as well. We were drinking but some of us were 18, others who werent scattered in to the bush, pretty funny. The rest of us stood around like stunned mullets luckily we had an esky full of ice as we had finished all of the beer and the cops and firies were ok with us continuing as long as we kept the fire to with the fireplace. 10 minutes after they all left another mate turns up with 3 boxes of paper and throws them all on.

Congrats to all those that are done and dusted and best of luck to those still going. Altough a few decades ago i can still remember walking out of school for the last time and the feeling i had which was thank God thats all behind me now with a spattering of uncertainty mixed in but all in all it was a great feeling.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you seem like one of those guys who are very smart with school but not so much socially?
Like I know nobody my age who has no job or licence.
I'm sure you will be the one laughing though when you're a doctor or lawyer :P

I'm with Zippy here, am 20 years old, don't have a licence or a job (drivers test next week though and will get a xmas casual job), no social issues (besides spending too much time on a football forum) and am studying at monash uni.

I am 19 with no job or license :P. May go for License in January just so I have some ID. Although on the Social issues, possibly although has nothing to do with not having a job :-X. I'm just too lazy for a job ;D.

None taken, mate. I'm actually not the smartest, more of moderate intelligence. :P Yeah, I have little to no social life. It's part of the reason I take to the internet and forums and chats to make friends. I have no licence or job, but I've promised myself that I'll get on to those ASAP because I know with that it will allow me to venture out and meet new people. I'm scoially awkward to a degree, but I take it in my stride. I guess I owe a lot to being lazy and procrastinating, but whatever. I'm a pretty positive person though, I'm sure things will pick up once I get my Ls, a job and start at Uni.
