are you guys all going to schoolies? if so, where are you going?

A lot of people from school are going to Surfers.

I haven't got enough cash and huge parties/huge booze ups aren't really my thing TBH.  :P

Will head up to the murray after last exam with a few mates.  :)

In year eleven, but have unit 4 Psych exam tomorrow... I hate Psych  :(

Only did it because there was a SERIOUS lack of choices in my tiny school.

@BS, Did you always want to be a Dentist? Or just a doctor in general? How did you go on the UMAT? Pretty big commitment in dentistry, good luck!

I wanted to be a dentist in year 12. So I did the UMAT. Didnt do exceptional (86th percentile), and you need around 95 to get into med.. But after ATARs came out, Monash Uni offered me an interview for Med (cause of ATAR), went and did that, but they didnt offer me a place :'(

Latrobe offered me a place in Dent. And ive been enjoying it ever since :D

But why did you go for the med interview at monash if you wanted to be a dentist? I am sure you would get another interview if you applied again this year if you really wanted to do it... (that's what my friends did, like 5 of them got in the second time)

I just rocked up for the UMAT (at the time I wasn't sure if I wanted to do pharmacy) and got 85th percentile, so...you beat me :P

I thought that Med would open more pathways in the future compared to dent. I was really set on dent, and I even went to an interview in Adelaide for dent. But then Med gave me an interview, and I thought why not :). But I didn't think it was worth waiting another year, when it isnt guaranteed that a second chance will come, so when I got an offer for dent, I took it :)

ahaha. Was hoping to do a little better on the UMAT since I did do some prep :P
