Ugh. I have to design 2 more functionally equivalent versions an iPhone app, make usability tests and conform to user centered design protocols; detail all that shiz in a report, and present it an 9 o'clock tomorrow morning.

And yet... I STILL CAN'T GET MOTIVATED TO DO IT!

What are you studying Purps? Sounds pretty cool.

This is for KIT305 - Mobile Applications & Development. Part of my software development major.

It is actually a pretty cool unit so far, it's just I'd rather not do anything today haha.

I detest the assignments where you have to read dozens of Academic Journals, to first see if they are relevant enough to cite ::)

Don't envy you! Google Scholar can come in handy in this situation though?

It is actually a pretty cool unit so far, it's just I'd rather not do anything today haha.

Haha nice. I haven't done any mobile apps stuff for my Software Eng course so far, kinda wish I did though, but we barely get any electives. Doing a unit this sem called Human-Computer Interaction, which focuses a lot on user interface design and stuff which I'm finding pretty interesting.

Haha yep, I scan the abstract and the article itself and if it seems semi-relevant, it's in.

Apparently we only need 3-5 references, I've got 2 so far, but neither are from journals, so I'll find 5 journal based references, chuck them on the reference list and submit it asap.

I use Scholar occasionally when I'm desperate, but I'm not usually a fan. That said, with the database still not working, I might not have much of a choice.

That does sound interesting!

I reckon the coolest unit I've done so far is Artificial Intelligence... even if the unit didn't quite live up to the title :P

Have a group/pair assignment for an off-campus unit (lecturer allocates groups) due in 3 days, 14 hours, and 20 minutes.

Girl I've been paired with hasn't replied to my email from last Tuesday or yesterday so have no idea what parts of the assignment to do :/

Have done 175 words of the introduction (essay total is 2000, plus presentation) so far and chosen 2 of the 3 journal articles we need to review, hopefully can get this sorted...

So... Finally met my course co-ordinator today and it turns out that I'm not finishing mid year after all. While I've done (and am doing) all the required units for my major and minors, turns out I still need to do 3 more units which will have to be done semester two this year. They're all electives though, so at least I'm not really restricted in choosing the remaining ones.
