Group Assignments were always just Individual assignments with bigger work loads for me.

Not sure whether to take chances at going to UTAS today and get shot...

... Or to take my chances at missing out on a 10% assessment...

Well, if you've got the other 90% in the bag...

If I had known there was going to be a security alert today, I would have tried harder, honest!  :P

Yeah they said we wouldn't be disadvantaged by not turning up.

But I went anyway; turns out the threat wasn't genuine, after initial concerns it was.

What was this threat you speak of??

Some guy on 4chan posted a picture of a pistol saying "this is what I'm going to use" - in implying an attack on the UTAS campus.

Funnily enough, they later found that the picture of the pistol was the same image used in an article reporting one of the shooting incidents in America a couple of years ago... and other stuff they found out along with that, so it turned out not to be credible.

Still! Was an interesting drama while it lasted.

Interesting and scary! Some people are just really stupid on this earth. We find other users on here really annoying but they are probably nothing in comparison...

So I got my English trial exam back, and one of the comments on it was "get a pen that works consistently"

I normally just get the cheapest bic ones or whatever at office works, do you guys know what I should be using?

The tip we were always given is to just take multiple pens into the exam so if one is dying on dies while you're writing you can just drop it and pick up another one.

I'd normally buy a stack of pens at the start of the year and intentionally keep like one of them unused for exam time.
