You'll be alright, just the panic setting in probably. Start with going through all your units one by one and write down the due dates for things (e.g. tests, assignments, essays, etc). Once you got all of that down, then you can start seeing what you should focus on first.

If you're behind on notes and lectures, you'll know what your worst unit/s are, so may have to dedicate some days to them if you time manage properly ;). May also mean less time to socialise just until you get back on top things!

I'm slack when it comes to staying on top of things, so dedicating today and tomorrow catching up with two subjects (and like 14 hours of lectures I ditched for both those subjects)

Have you become friends with anyone in your course? First year uni for me I had 2 of my high school mates doing the same units, and so it was really easy. Then 2nd year they had different stuff to me, and I struggled big time. Just being able to have mates you can talk to about work and stuff makes a massive difference imo.

Also, when it comes to the work you gotta do, as HP said see when everything is due, and the weighting of those assessments as well. And make sure you attend all tutes and labs, unless you really aren't able to go due to assignments being due or otherwise. Lectures you can miss in order to finish off work and stuff, but probably try to catch up ASAP. In saying this, I usually end up about 5+ weeks behind in lectures for most units by the end of the semester hahaha :P

That's actually a lot like me - had my best mate and another mate in my classes last year, then one dropped out and the other switched courses so this year I'm going to no classes because I know like two guys in my course and only have classes with one of them. Gotta go to class to meet people but don't want to go to class because don't know anybody :P unsure about how I'll perform differently, but I felt good about my first assessment (test) and been taking my notes.

You guys reckon I could fake my prac placement? Forms don't need a signature just contact details, I could totally just write down a fake name+position+email and my phone number and if she contacts pretend I'm somebody else, that could definitely work. Like when George pretended to be interviewing for Vandelay Industries, just gotta not let Kramer answer my phone :P

I mean, you probably shouldn't be taking advice from me, especially when I'm going full Captain Obvious... but don't let that happen too often.  :P

I've started many assignments the day they were due. I never failed anything so I kept continued doing it for half of them.

As for Lectures, I only really attend my Eco ones if I learn in them, have friends in them or they aren't before like 12pm :P. I rarely have attended any Psych lectures since my first year (three years ago), and the lowest I've received for a Psych related subject has been 76 after 6 units :D. If I actually tried in them rather than procrastinate/bludge reckon I could have lifted that to HD minimum.

Woke up at 12:24 :P looks like I'm not going I guess
At least it gives me time to finish off my assignment

This uni thing seems pretty easy
Depends what you do and who you ask.  :P
If you haven't decent study habits, its a breeze. Unfortunately, this isn't all of us :P
