Tutorials/Labs though? Mine sometimes have an attendance requirement, sometimes don't.

One of my units had an unofficial attendance requirement. A week before the final exam the lecturer called me and said attending 2 classes out of 13 wasn't going to allow me to have enough knowledge to pass. Scraped a 55. #thuglyfe

Pretty common for universities these days, but some tutorials/practicals I've done have attendance marks for them.

I mean you should attend like tutorials and labs/pracs and shower like that but the vast majority of courses don't make it manditory for you to actually attend lectures

If I didn't attend lectures, I'd be at Uni three hours a week this semester.

The reason I attend lectures is because it takes me an hour to get in and then the same back home again, so I'd basically be travelling two hours for a 50 minute class, which I feel is kind of pointless.

That and ACU doesn't record shower and some lecturers only have basic slideshows so you miss basically all the content by not going.
