So I have to write a 400 word reflective piece on "Who am I and where do I belong". Not sure why but I really feel uncomfortable about 'opening up'. Any ideas on how to get started?
It's weird. I've found in Uni that whenever we've have to quickly introduce ourselves it's actually a lot more difficult to do it.

Had to write a journal entry about our relationship with the city for Lit and surprisingly struggled.

'My name's big mac. I belong in macdonalds. I could try somewhere else, but that'd probably result in legal action. So I stay in macdonalds.'

that would also require a name change

Big question to answer in 400 words and if you don't want to open up, stick to general stuff. So "who are you" can be just things people/you describe yourself (e.g. Nationality, sporty, bubbly, introvert, emotional, etc). Can explains why in some cases if you wanted to. As for where you belong, can talk about family, friends, culture, clubs, school, any place you feel like you're apart of something bigger, or none at all if you feel like that. Don't have to go into specifics, only for things you feel comfortable with (e.g.  I'm an animal person because I own three birds that live in my room and have had like 10+ birds over the past decade. Then I cry whenever one of them dies which could make me an emotional guy. Something like that over one example and kills like 10% of your word count 8) ).

It's alright, won't get my first preference though, will fall just short when you chuck in the bonus points Adelaide Uni give me. :(

Mathematical Sciences (Advanced) at Adelaide Uni. Needed 95 or more, bonus points get me to 93.40. Second preference is just Mathematical Sciences, which needs 80 or more, so I pass that easily. Differences are I get a private mentor and do some extra work in the advanced course, but the one I'm doing is still credible enough :)

According to the university guide: "Graduates may find employment in industry and commerce, government, public service, teaching and research."

But to me, I am hoping to find something that is sports related, as I plan to specialize in statistics.
