Pretty happy with the units I've selected for next year: Introduction to Recreation, Managing Recreation Services and Facilities, Sport and Leisure Economics and Finance, Sport and Leisure Law, Sport Venues and Events, Sport Business Planning, Sport Business Planning, and Marketing Strategy, two of them off-campus. Haven't got my exam results back yet tho :/

Yeah I also finished year 11 at that time. We got told that the reports will come the same time as the rest of the school that finish this week

First year is always weighted less than later year subjects, so off to a good start :D. Just try not to drop off now!

Sounds like most people are happy with their results so far :).

What books did you study Nige?

We did heaps of readings because the unit was called Writing the City so there were like three main themes that revolved around and related back to the city.

Half the content was poems though, like Ozymandias and Crossing Brooklyn Ferry.

Books covered included The Trick is to Keep Breathing by Janice Galloway, In the Skin of a Lion by Michael Ondaatje and Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens.

So I have to write a 400 word reflective piece on "Who am I and where do I belong". Not sure why but I really feel uncomfortable about 'opening up'. Any ideas on how to get started?

It's weird. I've found in Uni that whenever we've have to quickly introduce ourselves it's actually a lot more difficult to do it.

Had to write a journal entry about our relationship with the city for Lit and surprisingly struggled.
