Pulling it close there with the GPA but awesome KC :D.
Wouldn't have it any other way.
a lot smarter than me, in my year 12 I tried really hard to get into law (which I did) than dropped out after a semester to do econs. IN the end got an ATAR like 18 points above what I needed.

unnecessary stress.
Gives you some work ethic, which I am still on my way to achieving. Although an ATAR is just a number at the end of the day I had a 62.95 which was about 25 points lower than I needed, got into this pathway course and just had to knuckle down.
Takes a little longer but makes sure you're on target and motivated to get into the course you wanted, so some upside there!

I'm similar Jobe, why I like doing stuff on holidays, and get out of the house and try new things. Otherwise gets a bit mundane... But stress levels way down than from exam times ;D.

As I've found out, that's easier said than done.

Apparently it's all about who you know.

A friend of mine got a scholarship to uni at the end of year 11... because we're rural he got 5 bonus points and the scholarship gave him another 5, so to actually get into the course he only needed like a  60, but he ended up getting a 98- I always thought that he just subjected himself to unnecessary stress over the year.

Another friend of mine didn't even get close to the mark he needed for engineering, so he did arts and chose 3/4 of his subjects as engineering, smashed first semester and just transferred in :P

Umpiring is flowering great, get into it. Paid to watch sport and have supreme authority. I do footy umpiring, first year this year picked up over $1600 (I think it's like 1625) from doing it (and the medal for doing a grand final if that counts), plus surely like 100 in free food and gatorade, and am as fit as I've ever been, made a few mates doing it too. A few hours out of my Wednesday evening (training), Friday afternoon, Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon a week and that's it.
