You'd be surprised how competitive these subjects are. 5 marks can actually be the difference between a really really good score and a good but could have done better score

3% out of an exam worth, at maximum, 2/3 of your final mark - perhaps more when accounting for the impact it would have on internal results.
Wouldn't have thought that's enough to justify altering the scale for an entire subject.

the scores are all relative anyway, if they ignore those 5 marks completely and mark as if the question didnt exist, no scores should be affected

Choosing electives is so fun. I'm limited to 10 2nd-year electives, and I've already done 8 core ones this year and have 2 core ones next year, so can't do any more for credit. So choosing from 3rd year ones, and how great is it that basically all of them have 2nd year units as pre-reqs which I haven't done yet, as all my 2nd year units this year were core. And I have to do a minimum amount of 3rd year units as well, so struggling to actually fill that requirement with my limited options.

So now have like 5 units to choose from, which is flowering spectacular.

I did nothing for English, IT, or Physics. Did a bit for Methods, and a lot for Spesh. Studied for SACs, got into my preferred course. As long as you do the important stuff, should be fine.

Mac, do as much or as little homework as you feel comfortable with. If you can honestly say that, in 12 months time, you will be happy with the work you've done and have no regrets, then you've done enough. However, if you think you'll regret not working harder... work harder!

In the excitement of finshing the year and exams I completely forgot my last assignment, a 7k word Maths Specs DI due at 9am tomorrow morning. 900 words down, gonna be a long night. :/ #Pray4Koop
