I'm actually pretty decent at English but I still definitely prefer the maths/sciences. I guess it's because there's only one answer to math questions. With English there's really no way to gauge how your going until a teacher gets around to marking it

Why wouldn't you want to do English? Best subject by far, and that's not just because I was good at it. 99.9% of English teachers are great people, and the content is generally good books/movies.

Most people that are good at maths are generally shower at English, and vice versa. And when (in my case) you're forced to have English as one of your "top 4" that contribute to your ATAR, it's not so fun :-\
I do agree though that English teachers are generally pretty awesome

Most people are weak :P My top 3 subjects (NSW) were ext 2 english, 2 unit maths and biology :P

Maths easily my favourite but I dislike Biology and Chemistry, bloody love Physics. I probably prefer English over the first two sciences though which is unusual I guess.

I did 13 units rather than 10, so ext1 and ext2 english weren't supposed to count to my atar (in my mind), but then I smashed them :/

What a shame, excellent time to use a :/ when you kill an exam you didn't think you were going to kill. :P

Was under the impression my assignment's word limit was 1500, finished it up on 1534 only to find out the limit was actually 1000 +/- 10% :-[ now have under 9 hours to reduce it by 434 words :-\
