6 more days of year 11 classes  :o
0 for me :)
Wanna swap?
I'll do your six days of class if you do my exams

So what do you do after exams are finished? Start year 12?
Provided I pass enough of them, yep. You?

We get a week off for some reason (i'm not complaining) - then 8 days of year 12 before holidays. Teachers are already spouting cliches about the workload, probably trying to scare us

Ah right yeah, we've got the same sort of set up, but I get an extra week or so of holidays as all my exams are early on, and then 5 days of year 12 "orientation"

What subjects you doing mate?

_wato

Three of us doing Year 12 next year boys, sounds sweet, I'm actually genuinely excited.

I have two weeks of Year 11 left and then a week head start for Year 12 (same as RB) and we're finished for the year late November.

Big Mac, were you saying you were doing spesh earlier in this thread.. In Year 11? You must be an absolute genius!

But yes, what subjects are you boys completing?

roo boys!

Doing Geography, Methods, P.E, Biology and Psych at the moment. (as well as english)

Dropping one for next year, most likely Psych at this stage. Struggling with methods but I'll keep on truckin'.

What about yourself mate?

KoopKicka

Make that 4. :) Pleasure to be among some esteemed FF'ers doing the journey!

Got 14 more day sof classes then exams, then 9 weeks off!

Maths Studies, Economics, Music Technology and English Communications is my lineup.

Jukes

Good luck guys, study hard and I'm sure you'll get the results you'll want.

Or you can be like me, not study at all, play video games and bluff every assessment yet still get your #1 uni choice :3

Started off so promising :p

Beautiful boys, I'm sure we'll have some awesome discussions as next year wears on!

Very nice RB, heard psych was a brain duller, not very enjoyable whatsoever haha, but hopefully you make the best decision for yourself man! Yeah Methods is a killer atm, got so much HW to deal with and I'm way behind the eight ball, might have to get some textbook answers from you at some stage next year hahaha. Wouldn't do that to you but!

And Koop that sounds sweet man, which state are you in? Never heard of some of themz? I'm guessing Maths Studies and English communications are not standard maths or English?

Thanks Jukes, great word of advice man! And for me, I have Methods, Chemistry, Biology, PE and English and will have completed R&S this year to give me 6 studies - currently 44/50 so far for the course and I've done Jack all (and I hate religion).

Good luck with Year 12 boys (and girls :-\). Enjoy the moments cause uni doesn't get much better.

At least not for me haha

Gotta love my exam on Friday. 20 MCQ, 4 essays in 2 hours  :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :o :o :o :o :o :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ and then like 2 hours later another 1 hour exam

Quite a few schools run a year 11 spesh class, but it's considered a General Maths subject. I did year 11 spesh and it was piss easy. Year 12 is where it flowers you in the ass.

If any of you are looking for a Maths, Physics, or English Language tutor, hit me up ;)

South Australia. Maths Stuides is the one below Specialist but above Methods and Applications. So basically number 2 outta 4.

English Communications is the practical stream of english, not sure what you lot call it. Its for people who want to be Journo's (me), lawyers, Real Estate agents, that sort of thing.

Oh and Im doing a semester of Geography too, seeing as I didnt get enough SACE/VCE/HSC credits in Year 11 due to a range of reasons.

Trust me mate, you don't want my methods answers haha. Sounds like if anything I should be seeking help from you lads before my exam next week.

Sounds like a good set of subjects mate, doing 6 overall will help big time so you've done well getting one out of the way early.
Same sort of set up as myself, just chem instead of the piss easy Geography that I know and love :)

Sounds interesting Koop!

Haha not quite wato

Our school just puts the year 11's in the same spesh class as the year 12's so we learn the same content. Then we do the same thing again next year and *hopefully* do pretty well in it. The 'ass flowering' is well and truly underway  :P

Ziplock

doesnt that mean you dont learn the shower you're supposed to learn in year 11 spesh though? :S
