Although, I'm fairly sure going to a Catholic all boys school had something to do with all of this.  :P

:o

I went back to Mazenod today to chat with the counsellor (we're good mates and have a chat every now and then), saw the ol' Mazenod nemesis' bus drive past and turn in to Kernot Ave. You're not one of them are you?  :o :-\

My school has many a nemesis.
Oh, so you're definitely not Salesian then.  :P

I'd hazard a guess and say either De La Selle, Whitefriars or CBC. From memory they're three of the generally better teams in ACC along with us.  8)

Never played ACC myself though. #terribad

Pfft it's all about the APS  8) :P
You have got to be kidding me

Physics question - When a car decreases its speed, it loses momentum. But if all momentum is conserved (Law of conservation of momentum), where does this momentum go?

Not sure if this is a real question...but I would say it broke, slowed and got out at the red light.  ;D

I can only say I'm honoured that some has been named after me.  8)

Got a 500 word reflection of my Arts group performance thingo but I need this group member to email me something before I do. I've chased him up by text and email and have had no reply. Going to try both avenues of contact again before I go berserk and maybe call him.  :P

Yeah, I know. I'm so glad I do it and that it works.

I even told my counsellor about it and he loved the idea.  ;D

I thought I was the only one who did this :3

Finished my 3000 word essay (have 2712 words, +/- 10% is good) that's due tomorrow after starting last night :D worked from about 11 to 7 while watching football and talking to somebody, I'd say that's a job well done. Actually think I'll do good at this assignment (it's in my worst unit, on 53%), part of it was bullshower filler to get words but more was actually good content. Now just a test (tomorrow) and one more assignment due Sunday for the semester before exams!

So uh, he just replied my text with this beauty...

QuoteI checked it today, but I'm worried I threw out my blue notepad after marinadin the contents of my bag with unfrozen bolognese juice from a poorly closed lid. I'll look for it but maybe you can fashion something from the first few sentences of what I wrote.

::) :P

I could be wrong, but I think that if the car is just decreasing in speed without interacting with other objects, then momentum is lost. Whereas if it were to hit a stationary object, then the momentum of both objects after the collision would be equal to the momentum of the car before the collision

i.e. Conservation of momentum only applies when there are 2 or more objects in the system?
