Lecturer challenged us to go the lesson without using our laptops or phones today, most put their stuff up the front on a table as he requested, I just put my laptop away in my bag and left my phone closed on the table in front of me.

I was doing well for a while but eventually caved and checked the trade news on my laptop during the second break.  :( :-[

hhahahaha.

so, we had this report for marine bio due for this crappy experiment we did. Basically, the procedure was so simple that we were given the instruction to 'For the methods don't recount the procedure you did, rather focus on explaining and justifying your hypotheses'.

We were all like- wtf, that's such a stupid method instruction, that should be in the intro, but w.e, if that's what we have to do. So everyone follows the instructions, mentions the hypotheses in the intro and then elaborates on them in the methods/ justifying them.

Then everyone got comments on their methods section wherever hypotheses are mentioned saying 'this should be in your introduction, not in your methods.'


actually, here's the instructions copied word for word from the assignment info sheet

'Methods- Here, we do not want you to repeat your instructions above but discuss your hypothesis and the reasons why you chose it and the appropriate analyses and graphs'

Been putting off doing an assignment worth 15% of my grade for about 3-4 weeks now, gotta get it done by Sunday or Monday.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Came into uni for no apparent reason. Parked the car, looks like him gonna turn around and make the 40mim trip home in peak hour. Wtf am I doing with my life.
