Haha yeah mate, know it now, just hadn't revised or anything! Walked into class the next day and she spat it saying how we all went so terribly and she made us all resit it (exact same paper there and then) and I aced it 8)

Severely lacking motivation to do any work at the moment. I really need the mid semester break this week, that is actually in the middle of the semester, not in 2 weeks after week 9  ::). I know Monash want to align it with the grand final week, but I guarantee like 70%+ of students would be more productive if we had the break actually in the middle of the semester to freshen up.

Pretty sure it's to align with school holidays. And all Australian universities (or the vast majority) have their break at this time which means they can hold uni games during that week.

It's flowering ridiculous. They do it to line up with public holidays, but it's still a pain in the ass.

It was worse (last?) year though in first sem when they lined it up with easter, which was really early that year, so we had our midsem break after week 4.

Quit your whinging guys at least you get a break. I have 8 weeks of uni followed by 10 weeks in hospitals with no break whatsoever. That also means that I finish in December. So how do you think I feel? :P
