has anyone tried to use ALLOCATE + to do their tute selection for next semester?
the worst possible invention, worse than turnitin!

It's not too bad, although I would like to be able to see my timetable (as in with the lectures and stuff already scheduled, and perhaps where I've allocated certain preferences already) while I'm doing my preferences

Nige

I don't mind Allocate+, some parts of it aren't exactly helpful though.

Allocate+ is annoying, but for Monash students, chuck open MUTTS and load your timetable plan on there and work in Allocate as well.

What I do and usually makes things alot easier. Also doesn't hurt that most lectures are auto-allocated for me, so just need to see about like a few other classes that are 1-2 hours each.

Ok, tiny vent time
I haven't had any exams this semester. Yay, you might think. WRONG! Because instead I've had to do 5 essays for 4 subjects. My body is a wreck, my mind even worse. So many allnighters. I would KILL to have an exam, to have a subject over and done with in 2-3 hours sounds like bliss. Plus the standard of writing is so much lower in an exam compared to an essay But instead I've had to waste precious hours of my life finding sources for arguments.
Currently on my last essay (and last all nighter). It's 6am, gonna sleep for an hour, then finish it off and hand it in before noon, when it's due. It's a complete piece of shower, but I really don't care anymore hahaha.
Flower my life.

Depends how long you have to write the essays Stew, cause if you've had all semester not too bad to do that. Even if you have a month pretty good time if you're on top of the time management! I can do essays well so prefer them to exams because so use to them over past 2.5 years (Arts student :P ).

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Think I may have failed/barely passed my last exam, but I don't really care anymore, can relax. I should be feeling crap after that exam but I think I've lost motivation for uni a year ago :P.

Allocate+ concept is good in theory but it always glitches out subjects and screws things up!

So it turns out I grossly underestimated how long my math homework would take me  :P
