Anyone here a first year engineering kid or know any first year engineering kids at Monash? I'm teaching two first year maths classes this semester!

There may a number of guys from my high school from the class of '13. Don't know the names of anyone actually doing it though, if you gave me the roll I could try and identify names haha.  :P

Don't have a roll yet and I don't think I'm meant to release a list of student names... could get me into trouble.

Maybe I should just turn up to those classes, listen intently during the roll call or have a good look when it's passed around (idk how Monash does it) and find out that way.  :P

Pretty sure tutes aren't compulsory (I should check that) so we don't even have a roll call. Feel free to rock up though.

Yeah, let's do some MATH! Everyone form a y=sin(x) (I say this because it will make use of the available space much more efficiently than a straight line)

Maths with me is not like anything you've ever experienced...

Out of curiosity, which maths units do you teach/tute for? I did MAT1830 last year, and doing MAT2003 in 2nd semester this year.

I taught MTH1030 last year but am teaching ENG1091 this semester. I haven't done the computer science ones before.

Yeah the comp science ones are all I'm able to do really. Software Engineering is very specific on what units you can and can't do. I don't have any electives this year (only 1 last year), and I think I have 1 next year as well. 4th year has a few though. I'd like to do more math units as I'm actually good at it, as opposed to programming bullshower :P

Oh well... Feel free to gate crash my tutes anyway. I won't notice ;)

I'll be there, it would be typical of me to go to tutes that aren't part of my course but skip my own :P
