Super excited for Chvrches and Haim, two of my favourite bands this past year! Also really looking forward to Vance Joy, Lorde, and Jezabels. A bit upset that I can't see Cloud Control or Daughter because they clash with some of the afformentioned bands.

So apparently my attempt to re-enrol back in November was never confirmed.  :-X

It's well past the re-enrolment date and timetabling is on Wednesday.  ::)

Getting this message:

Looks like I'll have to call them up and possibly even go in on Monday and get this shower sorted.

Haven't even gone back and the drama has already begun.  :-\

this is a uni vent???
ok so I don't know if it's been said already but, and I'm sure people agree, I'm pissed that I'm paying a showerload of money that I don't have so a lecturer can read directly off a Powerpoint 2 hours a week...fml

Eh, I know a lot of my lecturers last year made all their powerpoints themselves, with very few references to text books (think I only had 2 text books last year). Also, they're not just there for giving lectures. I asked mine quite a few questions every time I didn't understand something and they helped a lot, especially when it came to assignments.

Although I do agree education is too expensive :P

Depends on the subject, certainly see where you're coming from Jobe, tend to not bother if all the lecturer does is read off a screen. I'm use to getting books and pretty much majority of the examinable stuff coming from either Tutorials (one lab we had was completely useless for a subject) and the textbooks. I have no idea how it amounts to thousands of dollars a year :(.

Ah yeah, yours does seem like most would be from a book.

every subject I've had is a 2 hour lecture which the lecturer reads from a powerpoint, and then the tutorial is going over the lecture. i'v only had one subject which required text books and then we only had to read a chapter and go over it in the lecture :/
that's La Trobe Bendigo :L
