Got my results back. Passed all my subjects from what I understand.  :D :P

I got an email early this afternoon saying that I won the Third Year Linguistics Prize at Monash. That means that I was the best (grades-wise, I assume) linguistics student in third year this year.
Pretty damn pumped about that one :D

I saw Huggy, congratz! I'm sure you'd hold that over some others since you don't even do Arts :P.

Passed all my subjects, did worse in one than expected and better in another than expected, so evened out. Just annoyed I got two 79s so means my GPA went down instead of going up had I paid more attention to anything in those subjects >:(.

I did my anatomy exams, which were my first exams on like the 12th/13th of november, the first one was all multis + 1 short essay, the second one all one word answers (in identifying muscles etc. on a cadaver).

I still haven't gotten my results back... and I've gotten my marks back for all my other exams, including one which was like 2 weeks later  and was all long response.

We don't even have a particularly large cohort

Did alright as well. Got an HD, 2 Ds, and a P. Happy with that, was aiming for a Pass in Computer Science and got it, glad I won't have to repeat it.

Got another exam for my summer unit on Monday, hence why I haven't been on FF much lately. Shouldn't be too bad, over half of it is based on the assignments anyway.

And HP, I feel ya! those GPA killers are the worst. Throughout my linguistics diploma (which is done now :(), I've had 7 HDs and a 78. That 78, although not bad, cost me a perfect GPA :(

Had my best year of results in general this year! :D Last semester was my best ever and this semester my second best. Had 7 HDs for the year and one D (a bloody 78 in an engineering subject... I swear 78s ruin everything)

Yeah they do Huggy, especially since you've been killing it :o :o. Spoils the near perfect year you had!

I kinda breezed through last year (first year) so my GPA was always going to take a hit haha. Need to try and focus more next 2 years to get it to maybe 3.5 if lucky :P.

Damn Zippy, must be slack unit since you said before not too many people even do it :P.

Yeah, just got the mark back... 58 haha, worst mark since my semester of uni when I had glandular and broke my ankle :P

although, learning 48 bones, 150 bone features, 30 ligaments and 103 muscles, their functions, where all they are, how to identify them and how they differ from humans and apes in 2 days is a solid effort.

still averaged 71 for the year though, so happy enough.

Haha, HP, my second year was what permanently destroyed my GPA and WAM... If it weren't for that year, I'd be averaging a touch over 80 with a solid GPA. I guess that's what happens when you try to do third year physics in second year without having done the maths prerequisites and then skipping class to drink. Was a fun year of partying though ;)
