Stupid accounting course with stupid course work and even more stupid exams.

Anyone know any good courses that are worth studying please help :P
Engineering is good if you like maths ;)

economics is good if you like maths. Its similar to accounting so you should get credits, but its a real degree ;)

I'm talking real maths here, Holz. Thinks like calculus ;)

elephants

Ok, anything with no maths involved, please :P

Linguistics. By far the most interesting thing I've ever studied and I love it to death! Not sure about the job prospects though.

please, my friends do engineering. Their maths is easy, unless your doing aeronautical engineering than I agree with you. Get into Honours PHD level in Ecnometrics and your basically doing a maths degree.

we do Calculus by the way.

Aero and Chem eng are very mathsy. Others *cough*civil*cough* aren't maths at all. Didn't realise Eco was so mathsy but our maths isn't really easy (although I find it pretty straightforward because I'm a nerd that's doing a maths degree as well...)

I'm doing a subject called History and sociolinguistics of English. If that doesn't float your boat, I don't know what will.

yeah there are some really interesting degrees, the issue is how they translate to a job.

If you like reading writing and history, Law would be a good fit. Its pretty hard though.I hate writing thats why I dropped out of Law.

elephants

I reckon I'd like and I'd be ok at law, its just a matter of getting into it! ::)

its tough to get into at the start, but if your doing well at university shouldnt be too dificult to transfer into. Law I wouldnt say is the most difficult subject but you have to put alot of effort into it. You cant bluff your way through it with intelegence like you can in other courses.

Pretty much the reason I'm doing Linguistics as a diploma while doing an Eng degree...
