I got all my Monash results. Smashed it this semester. By far the best I've ever done. Loving life :D
Nice Huggy! Same here :D. Got 3 HDs and a D. The D was for Sports Economics as well... ::).
Nicely done :D I killed it with 4 HDs and new personal highest ever mark (pity it was in my diploma so doesn't count towards my real degree)
Haha, it still counts though as studied for it! :P. I just need to be motivated and actually study and can do well...

I had so much motivation this semester and I have no idea why. I hope it sticks around but I don't like my odds :P

shower. I kinda totally failed a unit because I wasn't too keen on sitting in a three hour seminar from 7pm-10pm every Friday night.

Ridiculous.

Am changing courses so I don't have to repeat that unit haha

Justin Bieber

Damn El :o :o. Try to see if they have a similar course to enrol in if you don't want to do it, although a short term hit for like 12 weeks is worth it if you like your current course.

THREE HOUR SEMINAR? 7-10PM? EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT? Is that even legal?  :o ??? ::)

And I thought I had it bad finishing at 7pm two evenings in a row this coming semester. :( :P

Yeah, sounds killler. I know a friend who does a Tafe course which his earliest start was 4pm, and most of the time was 6pm or 8pm classes and some ended at 11pm.... He had to catch public transport back home as well so I have no idea why Uni/Tafes put such times unless it's just to suit the lecturer/teachers :(.

It's this. I have a family friend that teaches at Swinburne and she had to schedule a class from 6pm-8pm one day because it was the only time she could do with her other work. The students just have to cop it. They're adults and they want to study the course/unit so they have to be flexible enough to attend the classes. It sucks, I know, but I'm sure people would be willing to work whacky hours to have a career they loved. The same has to apply to our tertiary education.

Haha no need, not a huge fan of the course I'm in so I reckon I'll cop the fail, ride out the year and look to change to a different course and hope for some credit for this year's work :P

Anyone have much experience in changing courses? Is it easy? Are they generous with the credits they give you?
