I just need an example of product and service concepts of a product available at Woolworths.

Just something that fits these...

The Actual Product - The actual product is the physical good or the delivered service that supplies the desired benefit. The actual product also includes the unique features of the product, such as its appearance or styling, the package and the brand name.

The Augmented Product - The augmented product is the actual product plus other supporting features such as warranty, credit purchase facilities, delivery, installation and after-sales service.

tough to think about an augmented product avilable at the supermarket. im thinking something in the cleaning aisle.

Augmented Product: A core product to which additional products and services may be added to generate multiple revenue streams. For example, an accounting software program that starts with a general ledger to which various modules such as budgeting, inventory control, payroll (as well as training aids such as books, newsletters, seminars, and videos) may be added. See also agile product.

Yeah, I know. I've been thinking for a while.

T Dog chucked me a PM and suggested mobiles phones. Woolies sells them and also can top up the phone with credit and stuff as well so I think that works well.

yeah it does work well. you also have all types of attachemtns like extra battery, waterporoof cover, car charger etc...

didnt know they sold phones.

edit: it think i have a better idea more relevant to wollies.

what they have been moving towards is stuff like cake mixture that needs extra ingredients and on the box they have a reciepe and it includes all woolworth products, i think thats a pretty good idea.

like they have adrian zumbo brownie recipe

Hmm yeah, that sounds like it fits the bill too. I haven't seen that myself though.

I think I would be more comfortable going with the phones idea because I know it better.

Thanks for all the help/recommendations though guys, really appreciate it.  :)

Nice work Nigey! Although read when I woke up today (12 hours after I feel asleep on chat -_- ) that you still fell short of the 1350 words :P. But you got close enough!

well, here's my vent.

so, at usyd we were given our mid sem break of a week, and a couple weeks before we went on break, we were told there would be a 3 day strike first week back (week 10), essentially giving most students a 2 week midsem.

which was awesome :P

but then, the thursday before week 10 (so like 4/5 days before the strike week), we got sent an email saying that the strike had been cancelled, since conditions had been met.

which is great! more pay for the staff!

but completely flowered me over, since I was sick all of the week and hadn't done any uni work yet, and had 3 assignments due in week 10. Also would have completely screwed over anyone with holidays planned, and anyone who had said they could work.

basically was not a fan. On the plus side, finally got well enough to start my assignments on sunday, and finished them all on time :D

If people could tell me how they feel about climate change, that'd be great.

Ringo

Do not believe it - Believe it is cyclic and we are entering a warm age. You have to look at it in totality not just some areas.  Do your research well and you can sit in the middle.

Here are couple of anti climate change articles for you

There's overwhelmingly strong evidence for climate change being artificially generated through human activities.

I think that if God wants the earth to end by climate change then it will, but I also have the opinion that it is happening, but not as bad as its all said to be.

it's true that the earth goes through cyclical warming and cooling periods, but it's happening at an unprecedented accelerated rate which is basically flowering everything over.

fortunately, estimates even like a decade ago have proven to be over estimates... but all that means (to use an arbitrary example) is that the great barrier reef will be gone in 60 years, rather than 30.

If there's meant to be climate change going on, then can someone tell me why the hell it's pouring in Adelaide in October! >:(
