May or may not have just discovered that the e-book for my Philosophy unit is only 877 pages long.  :o ::) :(

Took the day off Uni today (decided not to go for my 1 hour tutorial) because if I went I would have been out of the house for about four hours. I figured that I could instead stay home and do my assignment which is due tomorrow, assuming I could get it done in four hours and have the rest of the afternoon and evening to chill the flower out. Apparently the thinking/writing part of my brain took the day off too, still haven't got a single word typed up and it's 3:40pm.  ::)

If people can tell me everything they know about ethics and moral beliefs, that'd be great.  ;)

I think that is almost 100% dependent on the individual, unless I've misinterpreted what you're trying to ask

One of my tutors looks like Syrio Forel from Game of Thrones. He's awesome :D

"What is the nature of moral beliefs and judgements? Are they social conventions, expressions of feelings, desires or preferences, or objective claims that can be true or false? Give reasons for the position you adopt."

I'm staring at this in hope I have an epiphany and can smash this out.

Max 800 words, can be done in dot points, still no idea. I should probably stop browsing FF, TX and Facebook during lectures to understand the content a bit better.  :P

Doesn't have to be a personal preference, just be able to back it up well (look up at some sources). Whichever is the most common point in alot of articles, just base essay off that! And as GoLions said, isn't objective as will change from person to person! 800 words is like nothing for an essay so I would have found that pretty hard to write stuff up on! I'm sure you could go the Religious pathway if you want with their moral systems and all. Or go like individual differences in morals and judgements made. Saying this, assume you've pretty much finished by now :P.

Now guys, I have a 2000 word essay due in 2 weeks. The question I must answer is "What is the meaning of life?" for Psychology ::).

I could say the obvious and answer 42, but don't think I could reference Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe as a source...
