On the upside Jukesy, at least you have options :P. All 6 of my lectures are auto-allocated and one is at 8:30am :'(. I'm sure you'll find the right mix of good ones, but hard to avoid them all in the later year units.

Tutoring some classes in first year Business Statistics as well 8).

Yeah that's what's screwing me over, from the 10 sport management units on offer this year I've done 8 in the first two years, and from the other two are one I haven't done (yay) and one I dropped out of last year and I'm trying again :/

And I was going to do a type of business statistics but it had a group assignment so there went that idea :P

Hellopplz

Yeah, think some lecturers are going with group assignments these days cause less assignments to mark overall :P. I talked to a lecturer the other day organising a unit and he was set to put in group assignments for a unit for the first time ever, just to cut down the assignments by like a quarter.

at least you've had a taste of one of those units haha. Business stats isn't too bad to be fair, easier than maths for me at uni. And group assignments you can live with if you can manage to get yourself a good group, or take charge and make sure stuff is done! Only time I've gotten through my assignments with a few days to go.

Good start to the year, got to uni a bit late for my lecture and saw my room was on the other side of campus so just sitting in the IT building (obviously on FF) and waiting for my tutorial to start :P

Big Mac

Managed to sneak in a couple pints in between lectures today  :P

Drama yesterday was interesting to say the least. Basically we've gotta devise our own performance and everything. Gotta sort out our own audience (whether we invite them or do it in public) and also get it recorded. Our lecturer/tutor also needs to be invited whenever we perform it. I have no flowering idea what to do though, so a good start.  :P

My normally 20 min bus ride to Oakeigh station took double the time because of traffic. Hopefully that doesn't continue to be the case since I've gotta take the bus at that time on both Wednesdays and Fridays for the rest of semester. Literally made it to my tute with minutes to spare. Already got ranndomly allocated a group for my business unit and was immediately nominated as group leader. Should be interesting to see how it plays out.

Marketing on Friday, but I'm only going to the tute from 10-11 and skipping out on the lecture so that I can play dodgeball at Monash with Bunny and friends from 12-2.  ;D

I'm also doing this online course, a diploma in leadership and management. Supposed to have started it but I haven't really done anything yet because I couldn't do the initial quizzes because they don't let you if they can't detect a stable internet connection and mine was being dodgy as flower this afternoon.

If you're catching a bus in this area on a Friday, especially in the afternoon, you might as well start walking  :P

PowerBug

With the Clipsal in Adelaide traffic is suuuuuper slow (well, compared to normal Adelaide) in the city.

First week of my 2nd year now. Lots of maths this year which is nice seeing as it's a maths degree ;D

Keep track of the due dates and stuff Nige for the online course! It's a pain and I know people who've failed cause they forgot when things were due.

I'd be worried if there wasn't :P. I've got some maths so far in my 4th year Micro/Macro economics but should be manageable. Nothing compared to theory maths so good on ya PB :P.

Big Mac

10am start and an 8:15pm finish tomorrow  ::)

So it looks like I'm probably gonna have to buy textbooks for two fo my subjects.

My management lecturer basically said that we must have the textbook or ebook next week or we're flowered. Harsh but fair I guess. He seems like a genuinely decent dude but also one you don't wanna be on the bad side of, so it looks like I'm buying it.

Also might have an opportunity to sell a textbook I bought for a unit two years and used all of twice.

Jukes

Haven't bought a textbook since first semester and haven't needed one once! Big scam and waste of money tbh.

Also, I gotta do volunteer work :/ forms due in next Wednesday, have been meaning to call around for the last couple days but anxiety and putting me off have made it hard :P will hopefully do it tomorrow.

Bought like 2 books in 6 years of uni, agreed, generally big waste of money.

Ziplock

never brought a textbook and I've had a distinction average in science for the past 2 years :P

Big Mac

Never bought a textbook in my whole 8 days of uni
