Knights will wear 15
Chaplin 25
Edwards 27
Newman 1
Ellis 5
and Intrenational rookie Gieson Simon 50 (famously worn by Relton)

It's good to see Newy back in number 1 and I like that Ellis has been given number 5

I was on my way to make this same thread.

Like you said, good to see Newy back in 1 and to see Ellis now in 5.

Hopefully whoever we draft with pick 9 gets Cotch's number 9 guernsey! Would be fitting.

Don't think that will happen. Hardiwck likes the draftees to have to work for the number and therefore why Martin, Ells ect. Having high numbers in there first years

Nige

I knew that would probably be the case. Kel Moore's 40 is up for grabs and obviously Ellis' 42 now, so whoever pick 9 is will likely get one of those. Maybe they'll reserve it for them and hand the number 9 over in 2014!

And Morris is keeping his because its his old mans number, great to see.

Cotchin should keep his number 9. Suits him too well.

Haha that's a good point! But I don't wanna see lids or cotch change, their numbers are legendary atm!

Justin Bieber

Tbh I would prefer a single digit over a double number.

Also number 9 is my favourite guensey. All the guns wear it.

From the AFL Free Agency, Trade, Draft & Season News page on Facebook.

QuoteRichmond are set to hand over the captaincy in the coming days to Trent Corchin, however Cotch wants to continue wearing number 9,
Rather than Take on the number 17.

Worn famously by Jack "captain blood" Dyer, traditionally Richmond captains wear the number 17.

Should Cotchin continue tradition and take 17, or blaze is own trail by wearing number 9?

Thoughts on this?

Personally, as much as I love Cotch, it's been tradition for so long and for it to change now just doesn't seem right. Stick to honouring Dyer, I say.

Toga

still undecided for me. while i think it's a great tradition i don't wanna see cotch change number! :'(

on another note, does that mean he's been offered the captaincy?
