Not trying to seperate the two jist disscuss them as champions,
Casey is a Champion maybe as good as Doohan? We will remember Casey Stoner as a champion who spent to long at Ducati which cost him more championships, but he won two and he won on a Ducati :o Even the great Valentino couldn't win a race on the bike, as a long time rider I have loved watching Casey and not since I was a little boy watching Doohan have I cheered so hard.
Mark has been great and won two Monaco GPs, he may not win a championship but he gave it a red hot crack and easily the best Australian driver in nearly 30 years.

Mark could have gone to Ferrari but he stayed at Red Bull, shame he didn't win a title! Well he's not quite done yet.

Is Casey retiring to early and did he spend to long on the Ducati which cost him Championships? :-\

What you smoking tbag? his won 2 Monaco GPs & not consecutive. Can't really compare them as cars & bikes very different but Casey probs better. 2 World Champonships seals it.

Well that's embarrassing, I thought he had.

Well Mark has won two Monaco GPs which is a great effort

There both Aussies, there both guns. Don't compare them, celebrate them.

+1  I will say this put everyone on equal bikes and i think Casey would still come out on top over a season, if you were somehow able to involve Doohan in that in his prime he'd flog them all.
Put everyone in equal F1 cars and i cant see Mark being on top over a season but i like JB's attitude celebrate them both.

Webber isn't a whiner. He wins automatically

Keep in mind that Stoner has been racing for a long time.  He started racing professionally in 2000 in the British 125cc championship (which he won in his first year).

He is earning a reporteed $9million this year and he has stated that he wants to spend more time with his family.

Back on topic: I think Stoner is better than Webber but as JB said, I support both whole heartedly.

not really a relevant comparison in my mind.
A bit like comparing Steve Waugh and Polly Farmer. Both champions but in entirely different sports.
