History

2005 Edwards made his debut in 2005. He had a good first against Richmond in Round 11, 2005. However after a few not so good games and having knee surgery, he was delisted from West Coast.

2006 Played for the Frankston Dolphins in the VFL. He picked up the J. J. Liston Trophy with 18 votes to his name. He also won the Frosty Miller Medal in 2006, kicking 100 goals.

2007 Aaron was selected at pick number 82 in the AFL National Draft by North Melbourne. He played 4 games with a Dream Team average of 42.

2008 In round 6, Edwards broke his leg playing against the Sydney Swans. He came back to play the last game of the season. He played 7 games for an average of 48 (53 take the game against Sydney)

2009 Edwards had a terrible season. With 10 games and only 14 goals. He played rounds 5 - 12 before being dropped, yet returned in the final 2 rounds.

2010 Edwards had another bad year playing rounds 3-9 before being dropped. But after a 7 goal haul against Collingwood Reserves he got back into the team, playing from round 16 to the end of the season.

2011 Edwards cemented his spot in the team. With 6 goals against Melbourne and 5 against Gold Coast. After round 12 Edwards kicked 22 goals and 2 behinds, for an accuracy of 92%!!

2012 Edwards was dropped after North Melbourne were thrashed by Hawthorn. He didn't play another game that season.

2012 Trade Period Aaron got traded to Richmond for draft pick 74.

Verdict - No. To me he seems a bit injury prone and is very inconsistent. I don't think that going to Richmond will help his scoring out much.

Predicted Average - 73

nice write up!
a no for me but him and Knights are making me consider Martin who should play predominantly midfield instead of flank

Kellogscrunchynut

At best he will be scoring at around 70-75 and that being pretty optimistic. There are much better forward options than this guy especially at his awkward price.

+1 Dusty should also be able to run out games better with another pre-season under his belt.

+1 will let dusty play further up the field, should increase his output.

A no to Edwards for me, but dusty is locked 8)

TeeJay

Dont think he will affect dusty in any way. Theres always been a spot for dusty in the midfield

Adamant

Oh yeah, and Edwards is definitely a no from me.

Dusty is a big bodied mid who can get stuck up at FF in attempt to provide a decoy for riewoldt. I think it'll mean a bit more mid time, if not that then he will probably spend his time off the ball a bit higher up the ground, probably on the flank where he can use that booming kick of his.

Spudwards.

Over priced. Maybe at a rookie price.

Will have to kick bags each week to manage 80+...not for me.
