I agree Purple 77, we definitely have a lot of potential midfielders that are better than Gys. Time for Rory Taggert to step up and take his role, someone that actually deserves a spot in our midfield. He's been able to put on a lot of muscle so far and has alll the skills to be a very successful inside midfielder for our club.

There is no doubting that, worst midfield in the AFL hands down IMO, just saying there is plenty of mids that are at least just as good as Gysberts

This trade is good for PEdo but i dont know if this is good for the Dees. Pedo struggled to get a game for North and played ok last year but was rarely seen this year. He gives you some height at the back or front (where ever they play him) but i cant see him playing more than 2 years at the dees on current form

He won North's VFL B & F in 2012, was North's best first year player in 2011. I hear he wasn't playing because of the abundance of good talls at North.

Still, it is a big risk.....
