I actually liked it before without Swan, a nice real strong well rounded team.

i think i liked it a bit better as well, im just a bit worried about missing out on Swann'y scores at the start of the season and then having to try and upgrade to him...

Barra17

Yeah I can definately see why you want him. My team is sitting a bit similar to yours and mine is also without Swan.

I would agree. Look at it in terms of points.
I reckon the increase from Ball --> Swan isn't as large as the decease from Franklin - rookie...

roti

i also agree that to have swan you have to have a much less rounded side, my side is also extremely similar

Very solid team Toga the only concern is the forward line all are capable players although you would be asking alot for all of them to fire, Broughton especially will be closely watched to see where McKenna wants to play him next year. Zaharakis and Martin are in the same boat Forward/Mid players whom are both being looked at to thrive next season. As for the Gold Coast boys If you are confident enough in their abilities go for it, I see Stanley as an accomplished player and a good unique pick for the forward line, although I am not sold on Bennell is there is still a large gap between his best and worst scores.

Yeah that's true - I also didn't even realise it, three GC fwds isn't the way to go. I am pretty confident Broughton will get a good role next year, just with the players GC already have, and with the recruitment of Tom Murphy this year I don't think he will be subject to lock down roles. I also have a quote somewhere from the GC management saying he'll be used off half back and through the mids, so he's locked for me (+fwd/back dpp i think he'll be very valuable).

Bennell I'm not sold on either - every chance he might lose his DPP as well... Will see how everything pans out but he might end up being swapped out for someone like Rocky or Robbo

Cheers for your input :)

How did you afford to start Murphy in there as well?! Our sides are almost identical except you have Murphy instead of Wines... How does that work? ???

Would love to see him roaming the half back flank again not sure whether I would put him in attack or defence.

I had him in defence and staker in attack but I swapped them because for the start of the season at least I'll need him up there. Will most likely swap him back into defence when i trade out staker though.

Depends on where you like him I guess and also on which low price attackers and defenders can score well.

Should be able to get a game was named emergency a few times, was hoping he could be a downgrade target but in the end its good to have another defensive rookie for 2013.
