Small defender isn't based on height, it's based on the ability to play on small forwards.

Alex Johnson, for example can be classed as both.

Generally small defenders are small though :P

So yes a fail on the Broughton trade (although this may give chances for Forster to come in to the side so I'm not complaining there) and then a win the next year with the Buddy one ;)
