Fremantle has traded Greg Broughton and pick 60 to Gold Coast in exchange for pick 37 (second round) in next month’s NAB AFL National Draft.

I think the Gold Coast got a steal here.

seriously the biggest joke i have ever heard why would Freo do that? i don't know how serious Essendon were but i'm sure we would have given up pick 35 and a player for him something better then pick 37 can not believe this

Heard about this yesterday. Had a lil talk to him( he is my cousin). Wasn't getting paid enough (still on around rookie wage) and Lyon didn't like him. He flew out last night for a medical and flying home today for my fathers funeral on Friday then straight to Arizona for boot camp.

Freo has lots of small defenders - Broughts, McPhee, Ibbo, Suban, Duffman, Spurr, Forster.  That being said Broughts is a good player and will be much better for you than your initial small defender Krakouer
