i voted for Carlton before I read it properley  :)

I will have most players from Collingwood, But I think Carlton will push Hawthorn for the most DT points FOR.

Should be a much improved deadly Carlton under Malthouse.

As for me and why Collingwood is my "real answer". My probably 2013 DT midfield going into round 1.

Swan - Beams - Pendles - Ablett - Cotchin - Ball - ( rook - rook )

How can I afford this, all those lovely mid priced fwds defenders and luenberger in ruck #2.

Ziplock

one team I have 4 lions, 4 eagles
another I have 6 pies, 4 suns, 3, eagles, 3 lions
and my last one I have 5 pies, 5 eagles, 4 lions

so, I'm personally going pies, eagles, lions :P

the pies have swan, pendles, ball, even beams, cloke, krakouer for cheap, shaw
eagles for cox, nic nat, waters, embley, lecras, nikoski, gaff
lions have like staker, redden, rockliff, leuen, docherty

Colliwobblers

Carlton:

Gibbs - if DPP DEF/MID a lock

Murphy - can he shrug the #1 tag and be elite

Robinson - capable of eliteness

Kruezer - Malty only plays one ruck

Carrots - if he is DPP DEF/MID a lock less likely than gibbs...

Scotland - an oldy but a goldy

some to consider not so certain but worth a look?

Waite averaged 88.3 over 11 games and walker 74.2 from 15, both should see a lot more of the pill in the fwd 50 in 2013.

McLean averaged only 1.1 less than murph at 100.2 over 15 games,

gets a bit of a stretch after those :)

Don't know why some people say Richmond, I haven't got any of their players and I'm pretty sure 2 would be the max for most people (Cotch and Maric)

Dusty is another, but yeah, they're not that relevant I wouldn't think...

Kellogscrunchynut

Probably Collingwood in first place then Essendon, I predict a big year from Zaharakis.

Sydney
"play the underdog card"

No not Sydney. We are known for having the least points per team on average, especially at the SCG

I think it might be the eagles as they have Embley, Lecras and Nicoski all cheap as chips as well as the prems like Cox, Nicnat, Beau, Priddis, etc

Add in say Grigg if he can get dpp. Also Knights is a valid option and there's probably gonna be someone in that back line able to step up like Concave or possibly even Rance.

I sorta like Carlton or Collingwood at this point. Essendon and Freo will toss up plenty of options as well

Only Sydney players I'd consider are Goodes (underpriced) and ROK if he has M/F eligibility.

Andrew

Surprised I was only the 2nd vote for Port Adelaide. Heaps of DEF and MID rookie choices (whether Round 1 or later), plus Hartlett, Brad Ebert, and Gray when he returns.

Since we're arguing on our teams, I will make a case for Freo 8)

Duffman, Broughton, D.Pearce, Mundy, Barlow, Fyfe, Sandi, Griffin (when Sandi goes down), Clancee, Pav - Holy shower, thats more than I thought :o
Could even throw in MJ down back, and de Boer if he's DPP...

But seriously, Essendon or Collingwood would get my vote.

I was right!

Grazz

At the minute its the Lions but by seasons end probably the Pies or West Coast.

tbagrocks

How about Port Adelaide? :o

Hartlett, Back

Possibly Gray after his first game vest

Rookies, Wines, Mitchell, Pittard, Colquhoun, Stevensen, Heath

Brad Ebert to improve again?
