cheers Pweter, yeah thats what I thought. Ball to average over 100 though? From memory and correct me if im wrong but he hasnt done that once in his career.  Thoughts??

Colty, that's true but there are 2 important points your missing about this.  Ball was an in and under midfielder in a team that for a long time (pre 2009) was a lockdown, low possession team.  He was never going to score greatly in a side playing that style of footy.  Also, Montagna, Ray, Gilbert, Goddard etc have only really come on in the last 2 years so he was shouldering the midfield grunt work with Hayes for most of his time at St Kilda.  He averaged 83 or so in 14 games last year with about 60% ground time.  Now think of him in a side where he'll get at least 80% ground time and have the likes of Swan, Pendlebury, Didak, Davis, Beams, Sidebottom around him (and don't forget Jolly).  I think he's a steal at $450k.  I honestly think he'll average between 100-110 this year comfortably.

Mate your probably right, I recon the time on ground increase and tags will be put on Didak, Swan, Pendlebury, before Ball gets one.
Steele Sidebottom is a really intersting one, I have considered him this year, but just not sure what to make of him.
