Richmond have four picks inside the first two rounds of the draft - 9, 32,34 and 43.
We should be able to bring in some quality kids with them picks, in what is meant to be a 'SUPER DRAFT' and I am very happy with this!
Is there anyone you think we should draft?

aces-high

I tried to start one of these haha
Pick 9 Stringer imo could be the best player in the draft if he gets over that leg. Its a risk but i think we can afford to take it as our list looks great atm and if it pays off he potentially could be a superstar of the game! Has the potential to be another Pav. If not i hope we get the best possible midfielder.
Pick 29 Jason Pongracic. Big Inside ball winner in the mould of a brad sewell. Would take over tuckys role in years to come and has shown the ability to affect the scoreboard. Pongo has slipped off the radar lately much like what happened to luke parker a few years ago. Both were touted as first rounders most of the year and right at the end have fallen in peoples eyes. Will be a 200 game player.
Pick 31
Pick 40
I hope we use on either the best midfielders or a ruckmen. Our mids look great cotch, lids, martin, tuck, foley, jackson, grigg but besides foley they arent overly quick. I think an injection of a speedy midfielder would be great. A developing ruckmen would be great aswel. We dont really have one atm as elton is going to develop into a drew petrie sort of player, ty is a kpf, derickx is a mature ager and Ivan is already a jet. There is no one developing into the next gun. West coast lycett waiting in the wings and the lions have longer, i feel a developing ruckmen is much needed on our list :)

We had 31, but after the compo picks have been handed out Port have it now. Funnily enough, it's the one they got for losing Chaplin to us.

Hopefully Port don't take a player we're after like they did with McCarthy.

I'd like to see us take Stringer, like you've said, as he's just what we need imo. If we can't get him i think another medium sized forward would be our best bet, possibly Troy Menzel. He'd also be a risk with injuries but I think we can afford to take that.

If Troy Menzel's knees can hold up he will be an awesome pick up.

yeah but like aces said, with the look of our list atm i feel as though we can take a risk with either menzel or stringer...

Totally agree mate! We can afford to take a risk, and look if it pays off, we will be reaping the rewards  :D

I reckon we will take Jackson Maccrae at 9? Did anyone see him in the TAC Cup final where apparently he was B.O.G and what are people's thoughts on him?

Nige

It looks like it will be between McRae, Menzel and Stringer. I'd prefer Menzel. Even if his knees aren't 100% right, short term pain for long term gain?

Looks like a good young player but i would be disappointed with that tbh.. We don't need another mid atm...

I hope we get stringer but if he doesn't slip down to 9 I hope we get Menzel, like Nigey said. That would just about make our fwd line top-notch imo

I still think we'll take a forward like Stringer or Menzel, but I'm definitely open to taking Vlastuin
