I hope so. I think it was one of the better regions, just because I felt like the game was really balanced.
Although I don't know if I can complete it again, I have done ruby twice, emerald twice and sapphire a solid five times.

Feel like its wrong that I'm coming up to the 6th gym with pokemon in the low 30's. In red, blue and yellow it was always like mid to high 40's by Sabrina's gym!?

are you sure you didnt skip a gym? like you can get to sabrinas early, its just harder. I remember beating her in yellow with only 1 level 30 pokemon :/

Well I couldn't beat the 6th gym and yeah I missed a gym. Was raging so hard when I found out because its at the opposite corner of the map and I didn't have fly.

Pwning noobs now though.
