How are you managing to stagnate all 3 starter Pokemon?
We're playing Yellow which was made after the Animé/Manga and is based on the Indigo League episodes. Ash/Red get all the starters so they're all obtainable in the game. :)

Finished off the E4 last night. As you can see was relying on Mabel and Rubble a LOT but got it done. Also caught the Bird Trio & Mewtwo. Poor Ash really started to lose his touch later in the game, I was considering surfing around Cinnabar to train him up but decided he was strong enough and if not I had some electric coverage in Aconite and Serenity anyway.

So that's one game down! Crystal, Emerald, FireRed, Platinum, Heartgold, White and Black 2 left to go. Going bac to G1 was really interesting, I didn't join the series until G2 so it was kind of strange missing things like the exp bar and prompts to use HMs. It was the first time I've actually played Yellow, had played RB before but never Yellow. Very different experience and I really wish they had remade Yellow long with FRLG as everyone knows the story line from the Animé so well and even though I'd never played through this game it felt really familiar.

The highlight was definitely taking Sabrina down with a ridiculously underleveled team, I skipped Fuschia and took her on immediately with a team of lv 31-33 Pokémon and my lv 37 Mabel. Well somehow we took down her trio of lv 50 Pokés...Was truly awesome. :)

Ah ok, so you just find them in the wild?

P.S nice to see auto correct did a great job changing "start with" to stagnate ::)

Nah you can get them through different events early in the game.

Nah you can get them through events which are triggered by Pikachu having happiness. The exception being Pikachu which Officer Jenny gives you after you beat Lt Surge. :)

Finally making my first attempt to defeat the E4. Got my pokemon ready and about to buy some last minute full restores.

Team is:
PopDaddy (Pikachu) Lvl 52
Pipsqueak (Blastoise) Lvl 66
Tubthumper (Hypno) Lvl 56
Tupperware (Kabutops) Lvl 54
Cezanne (Dewgong) Lvl 55
Glen (Charizard) Lvl 53

Gonna be tough.

So after beating the Elite 4, the Hall Of Fame looks like:

Was very reliant on Pip and Tubby in the E4 as they were my best 2, but Pip only got that strong because it was so easy to grind in Victory Road against those Geodudes and Gravelers.
Throughout the whole game, Tubby was an absolute superstar. There are so many poison pokemon in the wild and especially Team Rocket, that I would just spam Confusion and OHKO them. Was a great feeling. :)
I went through plenty of different pokemon as my 6th before settling on Tuppy. Don't know why I called any of my pokemon any of their names, but I like them so meh. 8)

Starting crystal now. :)

Off we go again. Through Johto and eventually back to Kanto.

Only made it through the opening scenes and am now taking a break waiting for ML to hop on chat. ML, Maca, MTTY and I all have our own cards now so hopefully a little less confusing. :)

Thanks heaps to Sid for the sick design!

Finished my Yellow campaign. Did a lot on it today.
Looking forward to moving onto better games!
Can't be bothered summarizing my journey, but Zarbon (Blastoise) and Rasputia (Nidoqueen) were my best pokes.
Herani (Pidgeot) was the pits throughout the whole journey
I picked up Eggcelent (Exeguttor) late in the game so had to whore it on cycling road and on the way to Cinnabar but was actually a handy pokemon to have. And I'll always enjoy Volt following me around in the after game

AFEV

Pretty much ready to take on Whitney, but trying to make sure I'm as overleveled as possible before taking on that gosh darn Miltank.

Will likely pick up my Snubbull in the morning as well.

Been pretty smooth sailing so far, pleased to have been able to pick up so much of my team so early in the game. :)

Ode is actually lv 21 so I made a mistake there...But can't be bothered changing it. :-X

How do you get a bike in Fire Red?

Go to Vermilion City and go in to the Pokémon Fan Club (the house to the left of the PC). Talk to the Prez and he will go on about his Rapidash for a while. After that he'll give you a bike pass and you can go back to Cerulean and collect your free bike. :)

...or pay $1,000,000 for one. :P
