Yeah I usually do it at level 16 and then just beast it :D

"Quick" does not imply evenly leveling up your pokemon to a fantastic level before the second gym leader. I usually have one pokemon at about 24-25 by Misty, another in the high teens and all the rest about what ever level I caught them haha

Paras and Abra to 19 and 17 would have taken a while! :O

Yeah, it's weird. I've always levelled them equally. Also I use VBA, so it does run a bit faster. TBH, I really wanted Paras to learn another damage dealing move (although it was only Leech Life  ::)) and Abra I caught at Lvl 13

Butterfree is an amazingly undervalued pokemon. In my current LG randomised I got a Butterfree at level 60, just rapes every wild pokemon with any attacks to weaken it then sleep powder.

For wild Pokemon farming, Butterfree is pretty good with like a 95% chance at sleep powder and Compound Eyes giving increased chance of item on wild pokemon.

Otherwise, Butterfree is awful.

Yeah, I'm only using it because it learns Confusion so early. Now I have Kadabra, I think I'll box one of Paras or Butterfree...
