For those with emulators (eg. Visual Boy Advance), may I present: Pokemon Shiny Gold. It's a rom hack, which basically means someone got the code for Gold/Silver, but gave it Fire Red/Leaf Green graphics, added Hoenn Pokemon (including Mudkip, Treeko), and heaps of other awesome stuff!!!

PS. This is not a complete game yet. You can get to Kanto, but you can't get to Pewter, Viridian, Pallet Town or Mt Silver :'(. You do have the Magnet Pass, so you can go everywhere else :)

Gengar needs to be traded to be evolved. Hence why Zip made the comment.

Although the mod probably makes it so it evolves anyway because you can't do that using an emulator

Ok, everyone, read the thing. THIS IS AN UNOFFICIAL POKEMON GAME, made by someone who modified the original one, including what Pokemon you find, AND WHEN THEY EVOLVE!!! So yeah, Haunter can evolve without trading in this game. So can Machoke, and Kadabra. No, I'm not insane!
