True Quinny, have you watched it yet?
Monfries was showing his new club what he can do for them. He played through the middle a fair bit and one minute he was kicking the ball out of half back and the next he was competing in the forward line. Didn't do himself any harm getting the role he wants through the middle of the ground.
There were a few players missing for Port, such as Boak, but if he can play that role consistently in the NAB cup he will be one to watch.
There also aren't any other games to go by at this time of year!

Also Koby Stevens didn't impress me that much. He laid some hard tackles and tried a bit but looked a little lost at times with the new team. Didn't get much of a go with the Eagles.

Yeah I know, ill make my judgements on players roles etc after nab cup though and even then not with full confidence

Yeah no judgements can be made yet, but I have plenty of thoughts!

Could be the Ebert of 2013?
Thinking the same thing Adamant.
Ebert averaged 63 in 2011 and the Eagles and then 100 in 2012 at the Power.
Monfires averaged 66 in 2011 at the Bombers. Reckon he can average 80+ next year
