Daniel Rich

Age: 22
Price: $482,300
2012 Games; 20
2012 Average 90.3
Number of 100+ SC scores : 7
2011 Games: 16
2011 SC Average 84.8
Number of 100+ SC scores : 6

Daniel Rich is a high possession-winning in-and-under midfielder with a penetrating left foot and quality skills. The high-profile West Australian recruit received the AFL Rising Star Award in his debut season with the Lions and is now widely regarded as one of the most damaging midfielders in the AFL competition.  Has a very lethal left boot and for this reason usually draws a tag.  Showed signs of being able to handle tag this year and finished. with an average of 105 for last three games. Will he benefit from the gaining of Moloney?

At that awkward price and possibly a risk at that price. Has the ability though to lift this rating.

Projected 2013 SC score 95-100

He seems like he has all the attributes to be a real SC star but just falls short, is maybe work rate or he just hasn't learned how to deal with the tag as of yet?

Nice write up Ringo.
Good player, but wont be a top 10 mid and at that price....a no from me.

Not for me, too expensive and there are way better options.

he's probably the most frustrating player around. he's very capable of averaging 115-120 but he's so damn inconsistent

So after being 2nd to only Toby Greene in terms of points scored this NAB... Has he get a look in to anyone else's teams (apart from Ringo :P)

I am considering him over Mundy!

I am too but that average is pretty useless due to the 250 they gave him!

It's Rich vs Boak vs Steven for me at the moment

Note: Scores for week 1 of the NAB Cup include both round-robin matches, with scores scaled to reflect the shortened matches - this is factored into the overall average.

If the player played both games it was counted as 2 games so the average is correct.
246+132+97=475
475/4games=118.75
