Hmm, Duffman was a top 6 defender if you remove his sub-affected games, and averaged 114 without Broughton in the team :o

And here come the Stronger teams of the comp to have a teary about another Mexico trade :P

CrowsFan

It's got nothing to do with Mexico being part of the trade. It's got to do with the fact that it is a ridiculous trade that shouldn't have occured, no matter which teams it involved.

Trading a top 10 defender (even with his sub affected scores) for a forward who has missed the entire year with an ACL and has never averaged more than 86 in his career (excluding his first year when he played 3 games) is unfair by itself, but then for the team giving away the defender to also give away not one, but two higher draft picks in return for one lower one is down right mad!

Moscow not included ;)

1. Mexico make trade.
2. CF kicks up about it.
3. Complains in thread for everyone to read.
4. Tries to get people to side with his opinion.
5. Fails.

Repeat cycle.

Fair enough comments. The trade seemed fair to us as it met both our needs and Maca's. The voting process is obviously about keeping things fair so if folks feel its one sided they can block it.   :)

Let voting do the talking guys, will send out a bit later today

Well, 7 votes in, waiting on 11 coaches, and still trade 121 (Duffield/LeCras) has failed.

Reasons will be given once all votes received.

Maca and Spinking have 48 hours to work it out without interference.

What a joke.

Maca, I think you should look at the trades you have done.

You have taken in Scott Thompson (Crows), Corey Enright, Brian Lake, Brent Moloney, Daniel Cross, Steele Sidebottom, Daniel Merrett, Stewart Crameri, Chris Knights and Jordan Russell

You've lost Alan Toovey, Henry Schade, Daniel Talia, James Sellar, Paul Chapman, Shaun Burgoyne, Kyle Hardingham, Josh mellington, Martin mattner, Garrick Ibbotson, Terry Milera, Kyle Reimers, Matthew White, Jarrad Boumann, Ben Howlett and Nathan Foley

You can hardly claim that you've been unable to trade. Particularly since the trades that have been blocked involved you trying to bring in:

Daniel Merrett (which you got in the end)
Brent Harvey (which you got, and on-traded)
Steele Sidebottom (which you got in the end)

The only trade that got blocked that you didn't end up getting the players you wanted was the three-way trade when you tried to bring in Dane Swan, Heath Scotland, Matthew Boyd and Shannon Hurn.

If you are feeling harshly done by, you really shouldn't be.
