LONDON trades: Cale Morton

Reasoning: I thought I heard the last of him lol, but if I'm honest, I think he can get the form he had in 2008-10 for the eagles. A gamble, but one I'm willing to take.

Trade Confirmed - Morton was a fringe player.  Needed a third round pick with the depth of this years draft so quite happy to trade or pick 45. Bit of a gap from pick 20 to Pick 77 so sets us up nicely for draft.

PACIFIC ISLANDS trades: Pick 37

Reasoning: I have an abundance of defenders, and in hindsight, my Moloney-Talia swap was a mistake and one I regret. I have concerns on Talia's scoring ability, but his job security for adelaide will be comforting for the Islanders defence.

Yeah, as everyone knows the Islanders defence isn't the greatest and since everyone is tightly holding onto their defenders, we had no choice but look around for cheaper options (no offence to Talia). Being a key defender is a concern, but thats not what we were looking at, we needed someone who was going to play 22 rounds of footy and we feel that we have compensated the Brewers fairly due to this. :)

problem is it is every now and then and you honestly think that will improve at richmond?

maybe if jack does a knee otherwise same story different club
but i got no probs you keeping this in mind next year awards will see who gets a nom from the two of us due to this :P
